This holiday drive means a lot to our Mercy Flights team. It represents a simple way we can support local kids and families beyond the work we do every day.
As a nonprofit organization that was founded here in Southern Oregon 70 years ago, giving back to our communities is part of who we are.
Every year, our team puts together a holiday drive but last year, we came up with something really unique and it’s taken off.
We call it the “Fill the Ambulance” holiday drive.
Last year, we filled one of our back up ambulances with donated clothing and new toys to support local foster families.
This year, we are inviting our neighbors to help us again and we hope to fill 2 ambulances so we can support our foster families beyond the holidays and into next year.
Community members can drop off donated items between November 21 & December 15 at a number of places in town including Rogue Valley Mall, Wallmart, Dutch Bros and Starbucks.
